What is this point thing ?

I know everyone is busy blogging, posting, tweeting, facebooking, etc. But, here at the Bookworm's Attic we want to reward your for your hard work when you post, review, or blog about something.

So, we have developed the Bookworm's Attic Reward Program. If you are willing to contribute regularly to the webpage, we will reward you with points which you can use for free treats within the store! Yeah, free stuff for things you have to say!

Right, so what's the catch you ask?

We'll here it is.

1. We do reserve the right to delete material which doesn't fit with the Bookworm's Attic general philosophy. (You have a philosophy the greek chorus asks?) Yes, we do. It's no sneering at the Romance Readers (or anybody else who reads something that you think is not "real literature".) We are a very open, liberal bunch, but we try to be polite and as we are in Appalachia, we tend to be a bit 1950ish (in a good way!) We are a family bookstore, so nothing you wouldn't say to your grandmother (or mine) should be posted here. We have lots of kids clubs which are on this site frequently, and they get old fast enough on their own.
2. There is no monetary value to the points. Think of this as a postive behavioral support system (not sure what that is , google it!) We have a list of treats for you to pick from and cash is not on the list! But there are lots of other fun things, so its still worth your time, and who knows, you could get famous by saying something profound. Well, it could happen!

Also, if your one of those people who just type random keys in forms, or post nonsense (on purpose, not because you were up late with the baby) to be destructive, we will of course seize all your points, and find your IP address and show up at your house with our children's book club, feed them mello yello and candy bars and allow them to trample in your gardens (or touch your stuff with sticky hands, ruining it forevermore!) So, it's not a good idea to mess with us, don't do it! Move on to some other site. We are women, with young children, hear us roar!
