Book Conditions and Credits

We offer credit for books that we can resell. We offer the following credit amounts for books in the following conditions :

As New: 15% of retail cover price

Very Fine: 10% of the retail cover price

Very Good : 5% of the retail cover price.

Good: 5% of the retail cover price.

Book Conditions*

As New: is practically new, but may have some minor imperfections that keeps it from being perfect. These might have slight spine creasing, slight shelf scuffing.

Very Fine: We use Very Fine to describe a book that is better than Very Good, but not quite up to the standards to be listed as New.

Very Good: This is our average used book, which may have some minor flaws to the book and binding, including small tears to the cover, or dust jacket or perhaps some light foxing to the pages. A book described as Very Good is perfect for a reader who doesn't mind smaller imperfections that don't affect readability.

Good: A book in Good condition is a copy that has definitely been used, and will usually have various flaws. The covers may be faded, some pages may be torn (although there will be no loss to the text ), the binding may be loose, etc. Books in Good condition are perfect for the reader look for a good priced, readable book. These copies are acceptable if you are looking for a cheap reading copy

* Book conditions are determined by us, after we receive them from you. Any books not meeting our selection criteria will not be returned to you. They will be donated to a charity of our choice.

**By sending us our books, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of trade.

We only accept and stock used books which are in Good, Very Good, Very Fine, and As New.

All books received and sold by us will be stamped with our bookstore stamp on the inside cover and have an inventory sticker added to the back cover.
